Something new has been taking shape behind the scenes at The Sensory.
And it's something I've wanted to create for a while.
The Bodega.
A small, relaxed neighbourhood meeting place within The Sensory — somewhere to shop, sip, snack, discover something delicious and stay awhile.
No huge menu. No fuss. Just really good things.
SO… WHAT EXACTLY IS THE BODEGA?
Think of it as a tiny pantry of delicious discoveries.
We'll be filling the shelves with things we genuinely want to eat ourselves — beautiful local produce alongside interesting finds from around the globe.
Tinned fish. Really good olives. Delicious oils. Crackers. Cheese. Conservas. Salty little snacks. Sweet things. And plenty of things we probably haven't discovered yet.
Just like the Boutique, the Bodega will evolve as we find things we love.

Because I've always wanted The Sensory to be more than somewhere you simply walk in, buy something and leave.
I love the idea of the old neighbourhood meeting place.
Somewhere familiar.
Somewhere you can come on your own and know you'll probably end up having a chat.
Somewhere to meet a friend without needing a big plan.
Somewhere you can discover something new — whether that's a fragrance, a great bottle, an incredible tin of fish or a really good pair of jeans.
Fashion. Fragrance. Food. A little something to sip.
It might sound like an unusual combination.
That's probably why we love it.
THE SENSORY IS EVOLVING
The Boutique isn't going anywhere.
In fact, the Bodega feels like the next chapter of exactly what The Sensory has always been about — finding things we love and sharing them with you.
Independent labels.
Unexpected finds.
Local deliciousness.
Treasures from around the globe.
And soon, a little place to sit and enjoy them.
We still have work happening behind the scenes and we'll share more as everything comes together.
