Hey SJ, thanks for chatting with us. Can you tell us a bit about yourself and what you do at Disco Studio?
Hi! I started Disco Studio a few years ago as a way to document my preloved fashion, op shopping and sell a few pieces along the way. I also mostly just wanted to join the secondhand Instagram community - which is the best!
Have you always been a vintage lover?
Always. Have always had a passion for the 80s acid wash, shoulder pads, sequins, etc.
What are your top tips for styling vintage pieces SJ?
You do you! Do whatever feels good and don’t bother following trends if they don’t make you feel good. Play, and be comfy!
Do you have a wish list for garments, brands or pieces you are dreaming to find on your shopping travels?
Not particularly. I feel lucky to find anything beautiful out in the “wild”, as we say.
When is the sip and shop and what will be happening on the day!?
It’s Saturday 24 Feb from 2-4pm. It’ll be super fun with lots of vintage and preloved fashion you can browse or try on....And Somer and I will be there to help you feel great while doing it and to offer any styling advice you’d like.
