PROVIDORE Store - SUKE Candle, Sand

Made from red clay by a family run kiln in Seto, Japan, each cup is unique. Mixing a rustic sand colour glaze and an exposed unglazed base. Earthy and natural, it is great for creating a grounded atmosphere. We pour the soy wax in our Sydney studio and scent them with our unique fragrances.

Onsen - Hinoki / Cedar / Frankincense / Sandalwood

Tabako - Tobacco / Leather / Cardamon / Clove

Sakura - Tonka Bean / Vanilla / Oriental Woods / Bergamot

STORY:

We first visited this workshop in 2019 and fell in love with their glazes and clay colours. This particular workshop is family run and everything is very hands on. We designed this cup and chose the glaze while we visited the factory.

INGREDIENTS & CRAFT:

Located in Surry Hills, Sydney, is our studio where we pour all our candles by hand. Using pure soy wax and boutique fragrances. Each of our candles are designed to be used past their burn time as they are all Japanese cups or use the Suke as a mini planter.

Simply remove the wick, wash with hot soapy water and you can drink tea from it.
